On Tuesday, January 16th, the Duke and Duchess of Cambridge, Prince William and Kate visited Betel UK's Rising Café located in Coventry Cathedral.
Prince William and Kate conversed with Betel leaders and residents, hearing the men and women’s stories, for 25 minutes. Prince William twice expressed his desire to return to be with Betel in Birmingham upon the opening of Betel UK's new HQ building once it’s renovated.
The Royal visit went perfectly, with the stunning café decorations and beautifully set tables fit for nothing less than a royal reception. The artful, handmade baked goods on display looked to be the finest money could buy. Mary Alice and the Rising Café team did an outstanding job. The experience was a brief, thrilling brush with earthly glory that still has Betel UK pondering and cherishing the honour.
